At MRM Rentals, we know that accidents can happen even to the most experienced drivers. If you are involved in an incident while driving one of our hire vehicles, contact us immediately. Our team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to manage the situation and get you back on the road as quickly as possible.
Do not delay reporting an incident. All accidents — including minor damage — must be reported to MRM Rentals as soon as it is safe to do so. Failing to report an incident promptly may affect your rental agreement and insurance position.
What to do after an accident:
1. Check that you and any passengers are safe. Call 999 if anyone is injured.
2. Do not admit liability or responsibility at the scene.
3. Move the vehicle to a safe position if it is blocking traffic and it is safe to do so.
4. Collect all relevant information from the scene (see checklist below).
5. Call MRM Rentals immediately — even if the damage appears minor.
6. Our team will arrange vehicle recovery and advise on next steps.
